BrandedUK pricing guide

Clear pricing for garments, print & embroidery.

Your order is built from three simple elements: the garment, the customisation applications and any artwork or production setup required. Quantity discounts are applied automatically to the relevant price band.

Prices on this page are + VAT
How pricing works

Three parts make up your order.

Keeping each element separate makes it easier to see exactly what you are paying for.

1

Plain garment cost

This is the price of the garment before any logo, text or personalisation is added. Garment quantity breaks are based on the same product. Different products do not combine to reach a lower garment price band.

Example: 50 of the same polo can qualify for a 50-piece garment band; 25 polos + 25 hoodies are priced as separate products.

2

Customisation applications

Each logo or design position counts as one application. If a garment has a left-chest logo and a back print, that garment has two applications. Application prices reduce as the number of garments receiving the same design increases.

Print and embroidery are priced separately from the plain garment.

3

Artwork & production setup

New logos may need digitising, vector conversion or screen preparation before production. These charges cover the specialist setup needed to run the artwork correctly on our equipment.

Existing approved artwork may not need to be prepared again, depending on the production method and job.

Application pricing

BrandedUK customisation prices.

These prices are per application, per garment. The quantity band is determined by how many garments receive the same design in the same application category.

i

Which print method will be used?

We select the most suitable production method for the garment, artwork, finish and quantity. Depending on the job this may include DTF, DTG, transfer or screen printing. Screen printing has a minimum quantity of 25 pieces.

Quantity breaks

How the application quantity is calculated.

The application price band is based on the number of garments receiving the same design. Different logos are treated as separate applications for quantity-break purposes.

Example A — two different logos

20 garments embroidered with LOGO A and 60 garments embroidered with LOGO B are priced separately because they are two different designs.

LOGO A: 20 × £6.00   ·   LOGO B: 60 × £4.75

Example B — one logo across the full order

If all 80 garments receive the same embroidered LOGO A, the full 80 applications qualify for the 25–99 embroidery band.

80 × £4.75 per embroidery application

Example C — two positions on one garment

A polo with a left-chest embroidered logo and a large back print has two separate customisation applications.

1 embroidery application + 1 large back print application

Example D — large embroidery

If the digitised embroidery file is above 8,000 stitches, the Large Embroidery price band is used instead of the Standard Embroidery band.

No double charging: use the Large Embroidery rate only.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is embroidery?
Embroidery is a decoration method where thread is stitched directly into the fabric using computerised machines. It creates a premium, textured finish that's extremely durable and professional-looking.
Best garments for embroidery?
Polo shirts, hoodies, jackets, caps and fleeces work best. Perfect for corporate workwear and professional uniforms. NOT suitable for hi-vis due to reflective material.
Logo size limits?
Standard chest logos are typically 10-12cm wide. Larger back designs can be up to 30cm. Very small text (under 5mm) may not embroider clearly.
Stitch count explained
Stitch count determines pricing. A simple logo might be 5,000 stitches, while detailed designs can exceed 15,000. More stitches = more thread and machine time.
Wash durability
Embroidery is the most durable decoration method. Ideal for trade workwear, restaurant uniforms and outdoor jackets. Withstands industrial washing, tumble drying and years of heavy use without fading or peeling.
Setup cost?
A £25 digitisation fee applies to each unique embroidery design, across all garment types. Reusing the same design in one order does not add another setup fee. Logo setup is free on orders over £300.
Production time
Standard turnaround is 7-10 working days. Rush services available for urgent orders - contact us for express options.
What is DTF printing?
Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing creates full-colour transfers that are heat-pressed onto garments. Perfect for event t-shirts, branded hoodies and complex logos on any fabric colour. Check our bundles for package deals.
Is it suitable for cotton?
Yes! DTF works brilliantly on 100% cotton, polyester, blends and even performance fabrics. It adheres well to most textile types.
Does it crack?
Quality DTF prints are flexible and stretch with the fabric. With proper care (inside-out washing), they maintain integrity for 50+ washes.
Colour limitations
None! DTF prints full CMYK plus white, allowing unlimited colours, gradients and photographic images without extra cost per colour.
Wash resistance
DTF prints are rated for 50+ washes when following care instructions. Wash inside-out at 30°C and avoid tumble drying on high heat.
Small quantities?
Perfect for small runs, with a low minimum order of just £50 + VAT (goods only). Ideal for pub t-shirts, team hoodies, event merchandise and samples. Start with our Starter Bundle from £24.99.
Setup costs
No setup fees for DTF printing. You only pay per print, making it cost-effective for any quantity.
Turnaround time
Standard 7-10 working days. Express 24-48 hour service available for urgent requirements.
What is vinyl heat press?
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is cut from coloured vinyl sheets and heat-pressed onto garments. It creates bold, solid-colour designs with a smooth or textured finish.
Best use cases
Ideal for names, numbers, simple logos on team t-shirts, sports hoodies and restaurant uniforms. Popular for sports kits, hen parties and personalised pub t-shirts.
Names & numbers
Perfect for individual names and numbers on team t-shirts and hoodies. Each item can be unique at no extra setup cost - great for sports kits, schools and events.
Colour options
Available in 50+ colours including metallic, glitter, reflective, glow-in-the-dark and holographic finishes for eye-catching effects.
Durability
Commercial-grade vinyl withstands 50+ washes. It's flexible, won't crack and maintains colour vibrancy over time.
Stretch fabrics
We use stretch vinyl for sportswear and performance fabrics. It moves with the garment without peeling or cracking.
Small orders
Low minimums: printed orders from just £50 + VAT (goods only). Cost-effective for personalised gifts and small team orders.
Production time
Usually 7-10 working days for standard orders. Same-day service available for simple designs.
What is screen printing?
Screen printing pushes ink through mesh screens onto fabric. Best for bulk t-shirts, hoodies and hi-vis workwear. The ONLY method suitable for hi-vis reflective material. Get up to 30% OFF with bulk orders.
Minimum quantity
We recommend 25+ pieces to be cost-effective due to screen setup. Perfect for restaurant staff t-shirts, contractor hi-vis and team hoodies. For smaller quantities, consider DTF or vinyl instead.
Best for bulk orders
Perfect for event t-shirts 25+, team hoodies 50+ and hi-vis workwear for construction/trade. Get 20-30% OFF with our bulk order discounts. Economical at 100+ pieces with significant savings.
Colour limits
Each colour requires a separate screen. 1-4 colours is most economical. Simulated process can achieve photographic effects with 6-8 screens.
Wash durability
Screen prints are incredibly durable - rated for 100+ washes. The ink bonds permanently with the fabric fibres.
Setup costs
£25-£35 per screen (per colour). Screens are kept on file for 12 months for repeat orders at no extra setup charge.
Lead time
Standard 7-10 working days for bulk orders. Includes screen production, printing and quality checking.
